Q. What is The Fridge warehouse?
A. The Fridge is the home of music and performance in the UAE and is the original urban warehouse venue in Dubai.
Q. What type of events can be staged in The Fridge warehouse?
A. Pretty much anything. Think of it as your blank canvas. Over the years we’ve hosted launches, conferences, meetings, team days, kids' parties, film and photoshoots, concerts, recitals and rehearsals.
Q. Can The Fridge provide a turnkey service for my event?
A. Yes, The Fridge can manage any and every aspect of your event - from event design, catering, technical, valet parking and entertainment provide. You name it - and we can deliver.
Q. What type of entertainment can The Fridge provide for my event?
A. We can provide a wide range of world-class entertainment featuring anything from aerialists and contortionists to live musicians and professional dancers.
Q. Is there natural lighting in the warehouse?
A. The warehouse is naturally lit via 2 large skylights. The skylights can be covered with 24 hours notice (additional charge applies).
Q. What is the warehouse capacity?
A. The warehouse holds up to 180 people seated, or 250 standing.
Q. Can your stage be removed?
A. Yes, it is possible for the stage to be removed in order to increase floor space within the warehouse (additional charge applies).
Q. Can I bring my own suppliers?
A. Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own suppliers. Alternatively, we can recommend fantastic partners who know our space well.
Q. Where can we park?
A. There are ample parking spaces conveniently located on both sides of our warehouse. There is also a brand new parking area located at the entrance of Alserkal Avenue on 17th Street.
Q. Can I get a car inside the warehouse?
A. No problem. We’ve had Cadillacs, BMWs, Chevrolets and food trucks in here before.
Q. What is included in the PA System?
A. Our PA system includes 2x subwoofers, 2x main monitors, 1x16 channel audio mixer and 2x microphones.
Q. Are there any noise restrictions?
A. We don’t have many noise restrictions due to the soundproofing of our warehouse, but we occasionally do need to be sensitive to events taking place in a neighbouring space.
Q. Are there any age restrictions?
A. There are no age restrictions to enter the warehouse. However to make a warehouse booking, you need to be over the age of 18. For those underage, a parent is required to make the booking and be present during the event at all times.
Q. What are the warehouse timings?
A. Events may take place between 8am-1am. We can usually grant 24/7 access for set-up and dismantling.
